>What a fucking joke.
>There is no reason to upgrade this year.
Where the fuck is AMD?

>Where the fuck is AMD?
Jerking off, AMD is so fucking incompetent. Intel can do whatever they want and AMD will still be generations behind.
>>58316880
How sad is that? I wouldn't be surprised if Intel has 2 iterations of new processors line up and waiting for any competition. It's a shame it will never come and Intel can keep on jewing everyone.

none gives a damn.

They don't.
There have been many comments by real Intel employees that they don't have a real answer to Zen until 2019.
Kaby and Coffee Lake are again extremely minor revisions of Skylake.
Their first new architecture will come at the earliest in 2019.

>Where the fuck is AMD?
Somewhere btweeen 2010 and 2012.
>>58316984
Would be nice if Zen was decent.
Sandybridge showing its age a bit. Zen should be a good upgrade.
While IPC is a major factor for these gaps, a good chunk is also memory speed in some games.
>>58317042
Zen looks really promising actually.
>>58317106
No price revealed, though.
I'm so curious how AMD is going to fuck this up even though the performance looks good.
>>58316984
>they don't have a real answer to Zen
You tard, Intel's last 3 generations all answer Zen, AMD is literally that far behind.
>>58317267
>huerr ill just talk out of my ass because LMAO AYYMD XDDDDD
That's how you sound right now.
If you actually cared to do some research, Zen is actually very close in both, architecture design and performance, to Intel's current offerings.
The point is, Intel has done so many optimizations on their current architecture, that there isn't much left without a complete redesign.
AMD is sleeping
Intel have monopol and old shit processors cost over 200€ like pls ...

Leave shill

fun fact: AMD increased market share this year

>7.6% overclock
>6% improvement
Thats a -0.789% IPC "gain".
only people with sandy should looking looking at these, I don't understand the need to 'upgrade' year over year.
6 year old cpu to current cpu is a long ass time and made the part worth it. Whatever you get this year will last you another 5-6 years too barring some extraordinary technological leap.
Why is Ashes of the Singularity so demanding it looks like a 10 year old strategy game.
>>58317065
>2133MHz
I though 1600MHz was max on Sandy.
>>58318531
Its a massive RTS with tons of things happening on screen.
The easy stuff is the environment factor. The hardstuff is factoring in the couple thousands to >20K units and their actions. As well as their interactions/shadows with environmental factors like lighting/shadow/particle effects/etc
>>58318547
"Officially" 1333 was max on sandy. It depends on your luck how high you can go.
>>58318576
Not really luck but rather motherboard components. Higher end mobos has tricked out components to handle higher memory clock and overclocks.
