Is there evidence of Nivea gimping their shit?

Nope.
I'm still happy with my GTX 680 here. Performance hasn't degraded at all over time.
>>58315060
probably, you'd need some to get that off

delusion is what keeps nvidia afloat

By the way, AMD would fuck you over too if they had the chance. They're not powerful enough to do that so they play the part of being on the consumer's side just to stay afloat. As soon as they're better than Nvidia, they'll cuck you.
Most companies do this. Do the least and get the most. Not only is gayming a shit hobby, but they take advantage of the lonely NEETs that partake in it.
They're just kikes.

"""non issue"""
780 performance has only degraded because it has 3gb vram. Mainstream games now regularly use more than 3. Nvidia builds cards which are suitable for the time period. By the time the extra memory is needed a better product exists.

I don't disagree with your comment but I'd support amd to keep prices low if nothing else. And say nvidia and amd switched sides hypothetically, I'd likely do the same in a situation similar to how it is currently
>>58315060
>gimping
No, they probably use PhotoShop
>>58315060
Look at how different current benchmarks are for the 770 vs 280X
>>58315421
>amd performance goes up because their drivers suck and they've had years to improve them
>nvidia gets maximum performance from the start so it stays the same
hmm rly makes u think...
>>58315060
Not for my GTX 760 there isn't! Still rock solid.

You tell me.

>Performance almost doubled.
>Poo drivers ftw.
Not gimping intentionally, more fine tuning newer products becomes the primary focus.
GameGPU just put out new 2016 benchmarks and the REF 980Ti is now falling behind the REF 1070, they used to be neck and neck.
>>58315060
There have been plenty of video's and articles of people testing it, and the answer is always the same: there is no gimping.
Here is a video of Keppler cards tested:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DvCsT_dk-1E
And here is an article analysing the end life of Keppler:
http://www.bytemedev.com/the-gtx-780-ti-sli-end-of-life-driver-performance-analysis/
So there you go, evidence that it is bullshit, if you want to disregard this evidence without showing a fault with it go ahead, it just means you're the kind of person who believes in tin foil hat theories. tl;dr you're dumb
What does happen is that Nvidia does not optimise for older architectures anymore so the gap widens with newer cards over time. But cards don't perform worse than they did at their optimum.

The ref 980ti was always behind the ref 1070, but the 980ti oc's alot better putting it on par or ahead
