You mean it is identical provided you are overclocking ? Honestly buying a 6th gen Broadwell-E chip and not overclocking seems retarded to me. And overclocking the 6800k means you get the same as a 6850K , so it renders the latter useless pretty much. So yeah OP , if you are overclocking then send the 6850K back and order a 6800k . Unless you desperately need the pcie lanes.
