Adapta generates depth via drop shadows instead, which can be pretty nice too. Flatabulous and Arc are just completely flat themes though.
If a theme doesn't have depth to clickable elements it can go right into the trash.

I'll work on some icons on paper today. Though I might just copy the whole Cowboy Bebop experience and not tell anyone where it's from.
I'm not good at graphic design it but I know what hurts my eyes and what doesn't...and I know how to use art programs and concepts well enough to execute this design.

Here is my ui. It's easy to just watch and not be attracted anywhere in particular and the bg and text mixture really animates the writing well for me.

Anyway, this is my first time customizing a linux desktop so take it easy on me. I want to change all the icons now. Loading, text, tool tip transition, everything. I don't like these rounded bolds I'm using but it was the only non-proprietary high contrast available. Other than that I really like the look.

I just don't know what programs it would be good for. It'd be like a midi device in that you'd be placing a "patch/script" on a button and at every cycle it'll run it or update it.
