Those benchmarks are irrelevant.

Try userbenchmark.

These Broadwell chips were supposed to be the main line of desktop processors, but intel's horrible yielding 14nm process couldn't produce enough high binned chips to fill out the SKUs. After being delayed numerous times the Broadwell desktop chips launched with 2 SKUs, they were available in incredibly short supply, and intel halted production soon after. Reports were going around that intel was actually losing money on every chip sold. This was well over a year after intel initially launched the dual core 14nm Broadwll CoreM parts which showed enormous signs of process woes from the very beginning.

Even when they canned desktop Broadwell and rushed Skylake to market, they did so with low power chips first, and it took nearly half a year for the unlocked desktop chips to start showing up at retailers with any significant volume. Desktop Skylake was scarce for a long time.

Intel wanted to make Iris Pro IGPs and eDRAM L4 cache mainstream, but their 14nm process wasn't anywhere close to ready. Intel will try this again with 6 core Coffee Lake in 2018, which is their 4th generation of chips on the same 14nm process.
