Buying a 24" monitor, 1920x1200 / IPS / 16:10
I know Dell UltraSharp are really good monitors. Also looking at LG & Samsung. How good are Acer?
Dell UltraSharp U2412M 24-Inch Screen LED - $205
Samsung SE650 Series S24E650DW 24 inch LED-$258
LG 24MB35PY-B 24-Inch 1080p-$176
Had the U2412M for a long time, now have the P2415Q (basically the 4K version). The U2412M was great--still works perfectly, great colors, bright, and not buggy (some monitors give me problems when suspending, but that might be the computer).

I haven't seen any of the monitors in person except the Dell. I will have to see what the price is at Frys. Forgot to note that the listed prices are from Amazon.
Seconding the Dell U2412M
I like the on-screen menu that's aligned with the physical buttons, so you can easily use it in the dark. Genius design and I wonder why nobody thought of it before
Hasn't Dell replaced the U2412M with the U2415?

4k has dropped in price significantly. Why not get something that will be useful resolution?
