When I was a poorfag kid, I would pirate OSes, but today it is a bit of a pain in the ass so I'd happy pay someone like $10-$20 for their MSDN key or some shit just to avoid the headaches of piracy.

Not OP but I have the weirdest situation going on at a friend's house. He has some Lenovo notebook and Microsoft Toolkit and AutoKMS keep saying that there's a Windows key from the OEM branded inside of the BIOS. And then it got labelled as not genuine.
No idea what do at this point. I'll try to get Lenovo support to explain this nazi shit of not allowing owners of the hardware to install another Windows version or edition.

That's what friends do and it's more like I never saw anything like this.

Maybe the key is for a different version of Windows you are trying to install. If it's Windows 7 or 8 then install that system and upgade to 10 for free. You don't have to if you dislike 10.

OP you know buying windows keys from shady dealers is still piracy correct?
