Thanks for the warm welcome. I want to switch becauae nothing ever works, it's insecure, and there's no software. What's the best linux distro?

How do you deal with multiple wireless networks, and enterprise wpa2 with BSD laptops? Especially for us console jockeys? Between different work locations and home, there are close to a dozen I deal with in a given month.
On Linux I use, and absolutely hate, network-manager.

You make a hostname file in /etc for each network interface you want to use.
Say your network device is USB wireless adapter that uses the Atheros driver called 'ath'. With the line:
# ifconfig ath0 nwid "YourSSIDHere" wpakey "YourWiFiPassHere" ; dhclient iwn0
you create a very simple file (contains only three lines!) which contains the network device configuration information, and then get an IP address using DHCP. The file in this example will be located at /etc/hostname.ath0 and will read:
nwid "YourSSIDHere"
wpakey "WiFiPassHere"
dhcp
Do this for each network as necessary. Good thing is you only need to do it once. From then on, you should be able to run the netstart script located at /etc/netstart and get connected. Be sure to run as root (or doas it).

>install OpenBSD on a flash drive
>Reordering libraries: makes the system take 10 minutes just to boot up
Also how to make a tap adapter on OpenBSD?

Daily reminder that the TVs and cash money from the busybox lawsuit went to GPL jew lawyers and the developers didn't get shit out of it.
