What's the best software to RIP CD's on linux?
On windows I used EAC, should I just run that through wine or is there a better alternative on linux?

K3b is nice I think.

Does it have error checking like EAC?

Nothing will replicate EAC if you need that brand of autism for a private tracker. K3B doesn't make the same kind of logs.

Not for a tracker, just for my own personal use.
Does EAC checking actually matter or is it just placebo? All the CD's I plan to rip will be brand new so not scratched or damaged.
cdparanoia for audio, and the gnome disc burned app (brasero, I think), for data, like PS1 games or so

This looks like a good option, thanks anon.
