I've been in love with Python for many years, but I can't get to love django as well. Don't take me wrong - it's the best python framework focused in web development, but it's just so easier to do the same things with pure PHP, for example.

This really doesn't seem to be the case. When it comes to C++ it appears as though you're either amazing 10 year experience professional dev or you're unemployed.

PHP has problems with its design, which is bad. But the thing is a lot of programmers are stupid elitists who get butthurt when newbies can do similar things to them. PHP is absurdly easy to get on, so it's usually the first language people learn to start on web development. I've seen (a lot) people on the community getting angry due to stupid mistakes comitted by newbies using PHP.

Php7 in particular looks good, the earlier versions seem to be what most complaints are about.

If you are new to web development, then I strongly recommend PHP. But you got to know the basics of front end, so learn a bit of HTML (especially), CSS and JS before starting it all. If you're new, you'll love it; in less than one week, if you study hard, you'll be able to do a nice website (welp, at least the backend of it).
