I've done keygens with animation and music in less than half of that.

Though I shouldn't criticize too much; it often is the music that ends up taking most of the space. I used simple mod/s3m/xm songs, but they compress badly. Back in the day, I briefly considered about writing a realtime synth and feeding it specially-compressed MIDI data (like 4/64 KB demos do), but I never got around doing that. Plus that would have required me to actually compose new music instead of using existing files, but I'm not a musician.
