Can anything compete with the Unifi botnet?
It is dumb down GUI that any Normalfag can use.It is not overpriced,yet is apple tier in user experience.
Sure a pfsense routers will always be better.
But the price is good,and the don't charge for the OS
Mikrotik seems to be the close contender,but they charge for the OS and have weirdo levels.

I have a FTTH modem that use PPPoE. what the difference between setting up a port in bridge versus turning it into L2 mode?

Turn modem into a "bridge" then use the router for pppoe and stuff.
That's how everyone in my country is dealing with shitty isp cpe.
