guys I've used them all, since 1995. Grandpa here to tell you what de is gud. Cinnamon is the best if you want to get shit done. I've used it at work, as a Linux systems egineer, for years now..

Here's what I do, move the task bar from the.bottom to the top. Then run docky or another launcher bar on the bottom, set to auto hide. I like docky because you can right click on a running program icon and get a list of Windows.
