1060 vs 1070 in laptop

You realize that it isn't an actual 1060 or 1070 right? It's a laptop version that simply isn't as good. Same thing with the processor.
Buy a desktop and get a cheaper laptop.

I literally explained why I am buying a laptop.

I already have a desktop that I can play whatever I need to.

I work overnight and a lot of the time have 4-5 hours to myself.

I want a laptop to entertain myself by playing games. I can't buy a desktop and bring it into work.

The laptop version of the 1060 and 1070 are actually extremely close to the desktop versions in performance, the mobile 1070 actually has more shaders than the desktop version to balance out it's marginally lower clock speed.

That said, gaming laptops are still retarded but if you're going to get one, cooler = better so the 1060.
