If you're completely new to seedboxes and have money to spend I'd go with whatbox contrary to what some anons might say. Imo it's a really good starter seedbox. They're stable, hard to break, wiki is really newbie friendly, and support is really good.

I think some people here regard whatbox as being somewhat overpriced for what it offers. Seedhost (and feral while it was up) basically offer the same speeds and storage for less, but you're more or less on your own. People forget that support and stability should be a factor in price as well.

I know whatbox does pretty good data backups too. I've had a hard drive failure when I was with whatbox and it was recovered basically the same day. I'm on feral now but if the same were to happen, my data would probably be gone. I don't think feral does backups, according to what some people have mentioned in the past.

All things considered whatbox is really newbie friendly imo. And once someone has more experience, they can make a more informed choice about whether they want to switch somewhere else or not.

You can also download manga zip files, unpack it, then upload it back. Those are the two easy ways of gaining uploads though they require you to indefinitely seed to keep your uploads up as you probably won't get a lot of snatches.
I try and stick to FLAC uploads so people like you are certain to snatch my stuff at least, and archivers go for FLAC too. All of my uploads has a decent amount of snatches I'm sure I could stop seeding them all and they'd stay seeded.

Like my mum used to say, you should just do all the examples out of the textbook and come to the answer yourself. You can also to use the Physics for Dummies book to self-study the basics.

Or just buy the damn solution manual. But be aware that for mathematical subjects the solutions themselves are sometimes shit and there are easier ways of getting there.

Anon, you also need to check if it's in your university library (sometimes there are interlibrary loans). If you go to uni every day you could also visit the bookstore and quickly look at the method of the solution rather than just buying the entire book.

Or you could ask your friends/your subject's facebook group if it isn't moderated by the lecturers (there is a culture of collective cheating around uni subjects whereupon people will just ask their friends and get the solution/solution explained to them).

Interviews will open soon, and it'll be easier to join in time. Apollo might be a better fit for you if you're just focused on getting music without the fuss.

They're not perma-dead. The seeder just turned off their PC or something. Keep it open in your client and you'll get it when they wake up, most likely. Until PTH's userbase and snatches increase to a good size there'll be plenty of single-seeder torrents.

If you uploaded on what.cd you would know the answer to this. V2 was by far the least snatched torrent. Uploading v2's was the equivalent of padding your upload count with "fake torrents" because no one ever snatched them. On average I probably got somewhere around 0.1 snatches per v2 torrent. I think there was an in-depth analysis on how pointless v2's are on w.cd; I wonder if anyone saved it.

V2 is transparent. There are few problem cases where the LAME encoder creates artifacts -- in these cases, using V0 instead of V2 RARELY improves things. I doubt anyone here can ABX test V2 against FLAC outside of these very rare scenarios. If the goal is to achieve the smallest file size while still yielding a transparent result, V2 is superior to V0.

That said, no one on What.CD and its replacements ever snatches these. V0, and even 320 are preferred by users. V2 torrents just end up being used to inflate user upload counts so that they can reach higher ranks sooner.

If the allowed formats and quality rules were based on quality, then MP3 should be banned in favor of superior lossy codecs, like Opus, Ogg Vorbis, and even AAC. But they're not. They're based on what the users actually download, and V0 is the most popular lossy format.
