Apple does not want you using your computer for purposes they do not intend. They are less malicious than mocrosoft, but still immoral. For example they try to completely lock down and control the software that can be used on their devices. In the past, on their iThings, it was impossible to distribute an app that would tell you where to get an abortion. If you searched for an app to help you find an abortionist, you would only find something pointing you to a "crisis pregnancy center", and institution that lies to pregant women and tells them that abortions are extremely dangerous and tells them not to have one.

Apple also uses Digital Restrictions Management technology in their proprietary software. Technology designed to prevent the most fundamental form of human co-operation, and the basis of human civilization: Sharing.

Apple software is propreitary computer software that is liscenced to prohibits you, or a computer programmer under your employment, from inspecting and modifying the software to make it suit your purposes. Putting you at the complete mercy of the software developer. And because the source code is not avalible for inspection, apple software is "Just trust us :) " software, there is no way of knowing of any malicious functionality before it is too late.

Please do not use an apple computer.

A better question would be "What can you do on Linux that you can't do on OSX, if you aren't fucking autistic?"
