It works flawlessly for me, it runs off of OpenGL ES and Nvidia most definitekly made drivers for OpenGL on your card, so no screen tearing and faster performance, I would definitely switch, X is slow and bloated shit that loves to gimp performance and screen tear while wayland is tiny, fast and fucking excellent, plus there is always the XWayland plugin for Wayland that allows for X applications to run (without screen tearing)

There is a point where you just cannot fool the system.
program xyz is not compatible with your processor is usually not just a made-up line, if the program is compiled with -for example- SSE3 instructions you just cannot run it on a processor without SSE3.
So if Shilltel decides to implement some new x86 instruction (it can be and 99% it will be for completely legit reasons, like speeding up vector operations, working with even larger floating point numbers, improved CPU-assisted virtualization etc) and new windows' are compiled with using these instructions then you just cannot run them on older processors without them.

Simple examples:
-686-pae linux kernels don't run on old 486-586 systems (no PAE instruction)
-steam for linux requires SSE2. When steam for windows started to require SSE2 so many people were mad about it because they cannot game on their 10 year old AthlonXP desktops, Valve removed it
-linux flash player requires SSE2
-Windows 10 x64 requires 2 newer amd64 instructions not present in 64-bit capable P4 processors

DEBIAN IS SHIT
STOP USING AND RECOMMENDING IT

You are all completely stupid. Debian is outdated and insecure. More over, it's just a noobuntu spin that was made to attract power users. All it's maintainers are SJW and the distro is sponsored by jews and the liberal media.
The Debian project shows through it's public statements and manifests that it's clearly no aligned with the moral Christian values that made the US the great nation it came to be.
It's degenerate.

Arch Linux is superior to it in every way. It has bleeding edge packages, what means more stability and security, since you get all the last bug fixes.
It's rolling release, it doesn't randomly breaks during version updates.
It's also more configurable and extensible. On overall you just have more control over your computer.
Anyone that is serious about their OS uses Arch.
