This is a wellknown problem of EVGA 1070 and 1080. It is a vendor problem, Asus, MSI, etc do not have an issue

Eh everyone fucks up once in a while. This is why you should look for thorough reviews of the exact card you inted to buy.
At least they added the heat pads after they got called out.
