So, when do I need to start worrying? (Bought a 980 ti last year)
>>58201833
It comes out next month.
>>58201764
Its a better product than anything AMD will have for the next 2 or 3 years, im willing to pay more for it.
>>58201839
To add to this, the 980 ti is still fine for 1080p but it is starting to fall behind at 1440p.
>>58201839
Yeah, but do I really need it for a 100 or so more hz and a few more gigs of memory? I dont have the money to upgrade right now anyway so I guess it doesnt matter much haha
>>58201867
As I mentioned you are fine if you are running things at 1080p. Apparently the 1080 ti will perform slightly worse than the Titan X Pascal which averages a 70% performance increase over the 980 ti.

not having at least $1000 disposable income each month
>>58201848
I think you might need to reconsider this statement in a few months time friend.
>>58201897
Im good then, I waited until like last year when I even had my first flat screen tv. I can wait a few years for 4k and stuff. Stiiiiiiillll, Im sure the 1080 ti would be very nice.

I really don't understand the GP102.
> 50% bigger than GP104
> only maybe 25% faster than 1080 after lower clock and fused off shader blocks
> costs a fuckload more to make since 384b-supporting PCB and lower chip yields
why the fuck not just make it a little bigger than the 1080 if a bigger chip is already near thermal/yield limits?

amd/ati always had shit OGL support. It's a deal breaker for me.
Waiting for non shit card like Vega
