Why is this editor so goddamn comfy?
For most languages I use a normal text editor, as most IDE's suck balls, but whenever I have to write C++ I always end up drifting back to Visual Studio. Mostly because debugging is a dream, and IntelliSense works incredibly well compared to its contemporaries.
Anybody else use Visual C++ or Visual Studio in general?

I use vim as my IDE, tried visual studio back when I used windows IMO vim is way comfier, to each their own though

Sublime is my daily driver for anything not C++.

Visual Studio is not great at C++. Try Qtcreator with the clang code model enabled.

lmfao

This is not the experience of anyone I know who's tried writing C++ in Visual Studio, it basically becomes a bloated text editor with cpp.
I generally find Visual Studio to be a pain in the ass to use for anything. Also, I see that you have commented out a system("PAUSE") line. I would recommend to just delete the comment and never use system() for that purpose again. Or for any purpose. Just set a breakpoint there instead.

Maybe he is doing remote debugging and wants application to wait for him on the server before he attaches VS. Just a first thought.

i like VS for ANSI C tho. VS Code is also pretty dank as a general purpose editor.

I use CodeBlocks. Never tried VS, anything particularly exceptional about its debugging?
