>getting rid of a green bitch's greenness
What is this heresy?
Tixati.
>>58199133
rTorrent
Deludge
Transmission
Can't believe people are still using utorrent
>>58199257
Because idiots clicks on advertisements.
Get a job and buy your music
>>58199133
rtorrent (with rutorrent if you want/need a web gui)
arguably it is a lot of work, but can be extremly taylored to your needs
>>58199182
ditto, deluge couldn't handle 500 torrents and I have 1.6k minimum to handle at all times
sadly qbittorrent does NOT move files which are only getting checked from the "downloading" to the destination folder
nor does it allow nested folder via tags (e.g. tracker1/format1, tracker1/format2, tracker2/format3, etc)
qbittorrent is the best.
uTorrent 2.0.4
>>58199257
Literally no reason not to.
Anything that claims otherwise is grossly overdramatized and not actually feasible to matter.
>>58199282
Advertisements where?
>>58199372
Except for the fact that uTorrent is literally owned by the Motion Picture Association of America?
>>58199439
Do you not know your version history, friendo?
2.2.1 was the last version released by the original team. 2.0.4 was the last version released by the original team with the original logo.
Neither of those versions apply to any of your conspiracy theory level bullshit.

Why is it that Windows users like to use outdated software?
>>58199484
>conspiracy theory
>Los Angeles - - BitTorrent Founder and CEO Bram Cohen and Motion Picture Association of America, Inc. (MPAA) Chairman and CEO Dan Glickman announced today that the motion picture industry and BitTorrent, Inc. are collaborating with the goal of inhibiting film piracy. Bram Cohen developed a revolutionary technology for websites to make large content files available on the Web and that technology is often used by others illegally to distribute movies and television shows. Today Cohen confirmed BitTorrent, Inc.'s commitment to removing links that direct users to copies of pirated content owned by MPAA companies from its search engine at BitTorrent.com. The announcement today is historic in that two major forces in the technology and film industries have agreed to work together and proactively identify ways to l and to promote constructive innovation in this area.
>using outdated inferior software for absolutely no reason
>being this autistic
Have fun with your security loopholes that are easily fixable by downloading a real torrent client like Deluge you fucking mongoloid.
>>58199560
I would've switched clients if any of the other ones I tried functioned half as well as uTorrent does.
But they fucking don't.
>>58199566
>security loopholes
You mean the ones that don't exist, or aren't actually feasible to ever see in use?
Yeah man sure I'll stop using lightweight software that actually works for something else that is much more clunky and heavier in use.
qBittorrent or aria2 with a μTorrent user agent. Anything else is unacceptable.
>>58199133
i use transmission or transmissionqt
>>58199686
>needing lightweight software
>not having more RAM than you would ever need
>having a processor older than your grandfather
Stay poor.
>>58199133
qbit
it handles more than any other one I've used, and has a search function
>>58199766
Sorry anon, I use my computer as a workstation and Adobe is a RAM whore.
>>58199798
Well you've got me beat. Nice.
>>58199766
>software doesnt have to be optimized/well written because I can run it anyway
pls stop
>>58199868
>14 GiB
Wat
If you're on Windows, use qbittorrent.
If you're on a Mac or Linux based personal computer, use Transmission.
If you need a torrent app for a seedbox, use rtorrent
