>MY FUCKING FACE WHEN

Holy shit, all they have to do is connect the time of a post in the archives to the time made in the google captcha, match that with the IP Address and you've got a done deal!

CHRIST!

Yes, but I don't have that anymore

what is this?

>>

>>58190254
well it isn't that simple because you can wait between solving the captcha and posting, so if you and someone else post within 30 seconds, or however long the captcha tokens are valid, then google won't be able to determine which IP made which post, only that those IPs made one of those posts.

And pass users don't get the captchas, so if someone with a pass posts between when you solve the captcha and when the captcha would expire, google can't determine which post was the captcha user and which was the pass user.

additionally, if you're worried about it you could always filter requests to google's captcha server such that they go through a proxy, then google will associate the proxy's ip with your post instead of your actual ip.

or buy a 4chan gold account, goyim

How the fuck do you opt-out?

even if it narrowed it down to 20 people, it would still be enough for google to figure out your identity. heck, maybe that's redundant even, they probably already know who you are.

>>
>>58190516
That's not al it's doing.

You know those words that you have to type? Those are actually words from old newspapers and documents which are being digitalised and need to be interpreted by sentient beings.

Google is literally being paid to run these services through recaptcha.

We are all literally translating free of cost.

Settings (bottom of the page) > Legacy Captcha > yes pls
>>
Why doesn't 4chan use its own internal captcha
>>
>>58190590
to be more specific, Settings > Quotes & Replying > Legacy CAPTCHA > yes pls

>>58190594
hard to program, easy to hijack (remember when /pol/ tried to convince CAPTCHA that "nigger" meant calle or something? that would've worked it 4chan had its own internal captcha. fortunately, Google's captcha is literally EVERYWHERE, so there's no way in hell that would work.)
>>
>>58190535
If you do not want to, just go back to the old standby and only type the first word correctly and type "jew" or something similar for the second. They want people to give them free labor. Only fitting they do not get very good service in the process.
>>
>>58190532
You can use a VPN or even Tor if you have a shekel pass. And you can pay for it in bitcoins. It is the safest way to post on 4chan
>>
>>58190627
>hard to program
gb2 your desktop and "rate my build" threads.

An effective captcha system is easy enough to program - OCRs aren't that hard to beat. Plus, there's a good amount of free, open source captcha generators that would be trivial to implement.

>easy to hijack
why the fuck would this matter? 4chan wouldn't be using any of the captcha solving for machine learning.

>remember when /pol/ tried to convince CAPTCHA that "nigger" meant calle or something? that would've worked it 4chan had its own internal captcha
1. Typing "nigger" into the captchas has been a tradition older than /pol/
2. No, it wouldn't, because if 4chan implemented its own captcha system, why the fuck would it do any machine learning?

>legacy captcha
Those still send requests to google which allows google to track you just the same as the newer captchas do.

Your post is bad and incorrect on every level and you should kill yourself.

No. Here's the information Google gets from you:
>IP
You can use a VPN or proxy to hide your real IP

>approximate time the post was made
Captcha is valid for 3 minutes I think so the post has to be submitted within that timespan

>user agent
This can be spoofed and you can rotate through multiple ones

>accept headers
Can be spoofed though but doesn't differ enough to give away any important information, at most it can reveal your real country if you're using a VPN or proxy (e.g. if your VPN or proxy is located in Germany but your accept-language is set to French)

>referer
Can be spoofed or hidden but it seems the captcha breaks unless you enable sending referer, it only sends https://boards.4chan.org/ as the referer though so doesn't give them the exact thread or even board
>>
>>58190594

I don't think a pass with Tor will work because you'll run into the "Another IP is using this pass" screen whenever you switch exit nodes.

I guess you could configure it to never switch exit nodes.

Nsa's backdoor into 4chan takes care of this already, no need to correlate with an IP

this is the dumbest meme... There is some really stupid children on /v/ like you who manage to get on /g/.

You obviously never tried getting a job. If they figure out you post on 4chan they won't hire you. And millions of other things that can happen even if you "don't have anything to worry about". There have been tons of people here in Europe that have been interviewed by the police (because everything is a sign of terrorism, maybe you looked at buying a knife online or something) and because they frequent 4chan and so on there is a lot of discomfort and potential trouble with the law due to loli threads on /b/.
>>
>>58205358
>If they figure out you post on 4chan they won't hire you
you're pretty delusional. Nobody is going to turn down an applicant because he or she visits one of the most popular websites.
>>
>>58205546
>Nobody is going to turn down an applicant because he or she visits one of the most popular websites.
How is it like being a naive idiot? Are you one of those idiots who thought that the government did not spy on the American people even after the Patriot act allowed for it?
>>
>>58205358

lol wtf enjoy your police states, you don't adapt to implied misinterpretations (adapting to stupidity) by refraining your liberty

gl mass surveillance, retraining must go hand in hand with trigger happy folk

>>58205610

Patriot Act is a byproduct of a false flag and NWO agenda, carry on
>>
>>58198119
What the fuck she's legal why would you do this man
>>
>>58205622
>you don't adapt to implied misinterpretations (adapting to stupidity) by refraining your liberty

Only way to keep liberty is to avoid tracking on the internet. America will of course turn more and more into a police state as well and the information they collect will be misused just like everywhere else. Because there is no reason why the government should collect it and not use it.

>>58205624
People on 4chan call the police if you look at the screen wrong. Which is why being anonymous on 4chan is important. The police get thousands of phonecalls from 4chan users going "Hey, police? Someone on 4chan said..." etc.
>>
>>58205610
No, but I post on 4chan, have a job, and my boss, and even the person who conducted my first interview, know I post on 4chan.

I'm sorry you keep getting rejected from employers, but it's probably because you're retarded, not because you post on 4chan.
>>
>>58190321
>additionally, if you're worried about it you could always filter requests to google's captcha server such that they go through a proxy, then google will associate the proxy's ip with your post instead of your actual ip.
Only real solution

Pass users are logged too because they're logged in all the time lmao
>>
>>58206394
>and my boss, and even the person who conducted my first interview, know I post on 4chan.

They probably don't know what it is. Just wait until they hear about the hacker fourchan on tv. Then they will go "isn't that the cp sharing forum that anon regularly visit?" and they will give you grief.

>I'm sorry you keep getting rejected from employers, but it's probably because you're retarded, not because you post on 4chan.

I run a consultancy firm.
>>
>>58190288
>>
>>58190321
Here's an easier way but required more resources (access to isp logs orrrr just access to dns servers maybe?)

Your ISP logs the time you hit the 4chan post script and what url you visited beforehand (they know what board you are on)
You cross reference it with 4chan archives and with minor discrepancies in timestamps that are easily accounted for you can attach every post to a person
>>
>>58190177
Google makes a hashtable for everything you post and then sends ip/time for each post.

You think the javascript is just for the captcha? Think again.
>>
>>58206637
>They probably don't know what it is. Just wait until they hear about the hacker fourchan on tv. Then they will go "isn't that the cp sharing forum that anon regularly visit?" and they will give you grief.
I'm certain they both know what it is.

>I run a consultancy firm.
Nice. That's admirable.

>>58207077
>access to dns servers maybe
you could have access to all the DNS server logs in the world, but since clients cache that information instead of asking for it each time, it wouldn't matter. Plus, you only make a DNS request for the domain name, so DNS logs will just show that at some point you wanted to know 4chan's IP address.

>ISP logs the time you hit the 4chan post script and what url you visited beforehand (they know what board you are on)
If you're using HTTPS, this doesn't matter. The ISP will only know the time that you're sending requests to 4chan, not the contents of those requests, including the URL of the request, so they won't actually know what board you're on.

If you're using HTTP, your ISP could just look at the HTTP request's content and see exactly what you posted before 4chan sees the request, but that's just how it works for any HTTP request.

So use HTTPS and feel comfortable knowing the only people tracking your posts are hiroshimoot and everyone he's selling 4chan's data to :^)
>>
>>58207184
Does HTTPS not expose the full url in any way the ISP can gleam?
>>
>>58207208
No. The URL is actually part of the request, and the entire request is encrypted in HTTPS.
