Well then
The OnePlus 3T looks amazing, BUT, is it a worthy upgrade compared to my current Note 4?
I think it might be, but my main scare is that it's only a 1080p display, as opposed to this 1440p. After reading about tests made specifically on smartphones, it's a noticable difference. But maybe the performance boost and newer OS and all that will be better?
Some thoughts
>I can afford it
>I do light smartphone gaming, such as Bloons TD5 or emulating Pokemon HGSS currently
>I take photos occasionally; weekly but not daily
>I listen to music almost all of my freetime
>I rarely watch shows/series/movies on my phone; I already have a good TV for that
>I feel that my Note 4 runs out of battery too easily, for instance it goes from 100% to dead in just a couple of hours of playing Bloons, and it gets really choppy in some games such as high rounds (70+) on Bloons, PoGo (if I were to play that again)
>I lost the Note 4 touch-pen a long time ago and never felt that it was missing
Never owned an Android phone before. Just want something solid that will last some years. Will buy from a local shop. Here are my options in euro:
axon 7 for 385
huawei mate 9 for 510
htc 10 for 420
s7 for 430
htc and s7 are good but theyre kinda oldish now so idk what to feel about them
the rest are chink so idk if I should trust them either
I wish there was a oneplus 3t on this shop
Can I root them all or whatever you guys do to ur phones?
>>58177363
OnePlus 3T, just look at another shop?
Is the redmi note 3 pro 16gb has cm also?
>>58177385
yes.
>>58177363
get a pixel
>>58177418
are those stable yet
>>58177419
>problematic speaker
no, thanks.
>>58177440
i'm using it atm, for me is stable.
Well i went ahead and got the xa ultra. Should i have got the xa for the same price
Best phone for <=$200?
I care about:
- System updates (Android Nougat)
- Relatively small size. I own Moto G 2nd gen which is 5" and it's perfect.
Moto G 4th gen seems like the best option, but I feel like its "bang for the buck" ratio isn't as good as those of chink phones...
>>58177834
moto g 4 play is your best bet I guess. There are no other phones in that pricerange that offer more updates. the moto also has good dev support.
>>58177834
Moto g4 play nigguh
>>58177313
Yes, OP3T is a worthy upgrade from the Note. You'll lose the removable battery though. 1080p is fine unless you plan to do VR stuff on your phone.
>>58177834
One of the Moto G4 phones but only if a chinkphone isn't an option
>>58177985
I've never needed to change the battery, so okay.
>is fine
A 3DS screen is also "fine" at less than half of that resolution.
Using an iPhone 5 which, having used IOS for years, I'm getting sick of.
Can anyone give me a good replacement that's in the 100-150 yuropoor range?
>Ireland
>Vodafone
>Decent screen and camera
>SD slot
>Long battery life
Any of you /g/ents have an idea how I can fix my rear camera not having a firmware? This is on an SM-G900F.
I've flashed different stock firmwares, different custom roms, wiped everything, etc. etc.
wat do?
>>58178025
I'll take 1080p over 1440p when it means
>cheaper price
>better performance
>longer battery life
If you're worried about it then maybe read some Oneplus 3t reviews to see what they're saying about the screen.
>>58178155
Reviews I've checked basically all go
>it's worse when you look closely, but noone looks closely!
>averaging on tests, half of people can immediately tell the difference, while the other half either can't see any difference or will guess wrong
I'd probably enjoy it in the end, but I really really am worried that I'll feel dissatisfied with the picture quality. And if I do, it'll bother me until I get another new phone.

Redmi Note 3 Pro international version
Debating myself between the HTC 10, XZ, Z5 & G3
Which and why
>24 inch 1080p monitor
>1440p 5-6 inch phone
explain?
why not just use 720p or something and save battery
>>58178244
Because your phone is 20 cm from your face.
>>58178236
Either xz or HTC 10. Rest is shit.
>>58177291
>>Recommended Chinkphones $80-$300 as of fucking March 2016
Will this ever get an update
should i get huawei or never go chink?
I'm debating between either a Note 4 or a Moto X Pure. Anyone have one of these phones? How does it hold up today?
No spg in the OP rustling my jimmies.
Getting a Mi Note 2 will cost me the same as getting an iPhone 7.
How can someone justify spending that much for a chinkphone?
What's about about the Lenovo ZUK Z2 Pro?
>>58178994
It zuks.
no spg in op, you are a complete loser I hope you die in a fire.
Ay, what's the best place to buy a redmi note 3 from?
>>58179852
Top One or HK Goldway on aliexpress
Must have xposed modules, GO!

iPhone 5s
Is quality inversely proportional with price when talking about Google products?
>Nexus 4 : GOAT
>Nexus 5 : GOAT
>Nexus 6 : burn in AMOLED, permanent issues due to forced encryption
>Nexus 5X : LGbootloop™
>Nexus 6P : bootloop, battery shutdowns
>Pixlel and Pixlel XL : lens flare, random freezes, distortion at high volume
>>58178970
I was trying to justify it. They announced domestic 415$ price. But it sells for 600$. Guess no curved screen meme for me, I will get OP3T instead
This is really annoying. It's been out for over a month now and the 128GB version is still perpetually out of stock. Anyone know when they'll be available?
Broke my 6p, which was my favorite phone of all time. Stuck on verizon, so no chinkphones. No budget reqs. Pixel XL or V20? Or something else?
>>58178572
depends what huawei.
So my OPO died in a water pool. I dont want to spend that much money on another smartphone right now and the OP3T it's out of my current budget.
Should I get a ZTE ZMAX Pro ($100) or should I get a Xiaomi? the RM3P with 32GB/3RAM seems pricier.
Anyone here has experience with the ZTE one ?
>>58177363
bump and this time choose one of the listed ones
>>58177363
>htc 10 for 420
wtf where? I want one too for 420 euros
>>58181121
mate 9
>>58181300
its 540 euro but i get 23%(the tax) back with a jewish method of mine :^)))
same for the rest of those phones
>>58181330
sometimes I wish I was a jew, but then I wake up from my nightmare. Would go for the htc 10 tho.
What's your opinion on the Nextbit Robin?
best phone case brands?
not going to buy (((otterbox))) overpriced shit
>>58178970
The main benefits to me over getting that mi Note 2 over the iphone is the AMOLED screen and the 4000mah battery which will gurantee way more SOT compared to the iPhone 7.
But like >>58180154 said I would rather get a OP3T because while the battery life and screen quality will be probably a little worse, at least you will get a near stock version of android by default, a good developer community, and better customer service (even though from what I heard it still kinda sucks). It will he hard to get the same customer service from third party sellers.
>>58180124
Nexus 4 and 5 both had shit battery life and average cameras
>>58181195
Maybe the Redmi 4 pro?
