I think i just fucked my phone, any time i try to install any rom it comes back with "could not find 'meta-inf/com/google/android/update-binary' in the zip file"

Probably wrong rom version, or wrong recovery version. Make sure you wipe data before installing a new rom (wipe system, data, dalvic …) it may do with incompatible partition style so wiping may fix it
