Is Clonezilla the best solution?
>>
Either Clonezilla or Ghost.

We use Clonezilla at work because we have 500+ industrial PCs at work that all use the same image. You can restore from RAW for the base image, take a backup, or restore from backup all on the same USB drive.

I tried clonezilla out it filled a whole folder full of shit.
There is an option in gnome discs that makes a single .img file, this seems alot cleaner.
Am I wrong here, why would anyone choose a shit load of files over a single file?
>>
>>58167218
Clonezilla is utter shit and was a very disappointing experience to use.

Macrium reflect is what I used when g have me other shittier options...

Use macrium. And never ask g for advice
>>
>>58167218
fuck no. hardware solutions are so much better. the device is relatively cheap, faster and can use your pc for other work.
>>
Fuck clonezilla I've been trying to use this shitty thing for hours it just won't boot from my USB drive

Ok, don't use macrium, got it
>>

This

Just did this using EaseUS , all you have to do to get it to work exactly as it should is use the clone system option to get all the nessecary files to load the OS.

If it tell you the target drive is the wrong type, change it in disk Management.
>>
Clonezilla has literally the same limitations as dd. Its highly likely just a Linux distro with dd and some shit ui to use dd with.

Tldr use a real backup solution like bacula or fucking use dd yourself.
>>

>Trying to use Clonezilla

>Everything works
Why you are not using DD?
>>
>>58168348
Was that folder on a FAT32 drive? FAT32 limits you to 4GB files.
>>
What's wrong with dd?

Are wincucks really this lost?
>>
>>58167218
dd you worthless nigger
>>
you guys are seriously missing out on drive cloning hardware. shit is so easy it's impossible to fuck up. connect source drive. connect destination drive. flip switch and wait for it to finish. that's it. you could use your pc for other shit. there is nothing better for offline mass cloning.

I'm aware that Imgur.com will stop allowing adult images since 15th of May. I'm taking actions to backup as much data as possible.
