how does it make you feel?
>>58164103
Fully erect.
Indifferent.
Somewhat placid.
Annoyed, afaik this means all ROMs based on Cyanogen will die too.
I never really cared since I use modified xda curry rom's from XDA that tend to have better support and more features.
Yes, most of them are made by indians, but they are actually pretty good.
>>58164151
but 95% of them had no updates whatsoever
>>58164161
>indians are actually pretty good
It's about time /g/ admits it :) :) :)
We'll move to LineageOS and that's about it.
>>58164161
The majority of those are based on CM.
New custom ROMs will have to be complied and maintained by device maintainers now, they'll either use the new lineage base or switch to aosp.
Nightlies won't be a thing anymore.
>>58164103
Doesn't make me feel a thing, since I don't trust google's botnet curryshit OS either way.

>no funding for build servers
>no paid Devs
>no stable branch
Don't be so sure it'll be that easy anon. There will probably be a few months drought in the custom ROM scene at least.
>>58164201
but it was open you could have checked every line of it
Schadenfreude
Laughing my ass off
>They shafted OnePlus, but CM is kill and OnePlus is still here
>>58164103
Indifferent, life goes on (under a different name). I didn't care for Cyanogen the corp.
you guys are fucking retarded. The one is going down is Cyanogen.Inc not Cyanogenmod
>>58164456
I'm afraid it is you who is retarded

LineageOS will continue where cyanogenmod left off.

See >>58164211
It might eventually get to a point that resembles cm development, but it will be far from a seamless transition.
>>58164103
Sad cause i can't install it on my brilliant Mi4c...
>>58164103
Running CM 14.1 (Nougat 7.1.1) on my Note 3.
Pretty gud desu
>>58164675
Cool. EOL came a bit earlier.
>>58164103
Nothing of value was lost. Development should focus on Xposed instead.
>>58164720
No it shouldn't, retard. How is Xposed going to enable phones on Kit Kat to update to the newest version of Android and the security updates that come with it?
>>58164787
By porting AOSP baka.
>>58164103
indifferent, i never used that.
>Been struggling to install cyanogen on my phone for over a month
>>58164103
Not fucking happy at all, I enjoyed CM for many years on multiple devices.
