Arch has allowed me easier management and maintenance of the developmental version of modern scientific code libraries which allows me to contribute to the development easier. This has garnered me more citations to my papers through easier publication of my code.

A very recent /g/ thread has also shown me how I can blame any personal failures in my life on an operating system should it ever come to that.
