I'm trying to make a text adventure game with java...
Is it feasible?
Does anyone know how to make a GUI that would work, like a text box or something?
I would be so grateful for any help
<<<Something like this>>>import java.util.*;
public class Anus{
public static void main(String[] args){
Scanner input= new Scanner(System.in);
System.out.println("you wake up in a strange room. Do you stand up? Y/N");
String answer=input.nextLine();
if (answer.equals("yes")|answer.equals("y")|answer.equals("Y")){
System.out.println("You stand up");
}else{
System.out.println("you stay lying there");
}
}
}
Bruh making GUI in java is such a pain in the ass. If you want to make it still, please do it in JavaFx. DO NOT USE Java Swing. Its horrible. Look up JavaFx GUI
