So a while ago i bought a USB 2.0 hub, the day before i got it i saw Comfy iirc had put up a video telling people it killed pc's because it returned to much voltage. The issue for me was all my USB devices would cut out all at once then I'd get a BSOD a few seconds later. I think it was the sudden disconnection and surge back into my PC which caused it. Other than that it worked as a hub, it just caused a ton of issues of the PC BSOD. My PC cut out 5-6 times during /csg/ podcast episode 2 for instance.

I've also heard the problems get much worse when you plug it into the mains via the AC port on the hub then into your PC because the surge back is much more insane when it cuts out. I lucked out there and didn't bother using it.

My Redmi Note 3 Pro's headphone jack isnt working. Sound is muffled, sometimes when I position the 3.5mm JUST right it works but a slight bump puts it out of position.

I looked online and some pajeet noticed the volume slider that plays your ringtone as you adjust it plays correctly, this is the case for me too.

Not sure if it is a software or hardware problem. Anyone experienced this? Thinking I'll install CM instead of MIUI and find out.

I only used Apple's phones before, so I don't miss much customization because I'm simply not used to it. I installed Google Launcher and basically turn to Google for most services, it was similar before. Fuck it, they have some of the best stuff and I'm heavy Docs/Sheets user. That left info page of their Launcher is great because it really got to know me, to a very concerning degree. Through searches on Chrome, YT and email on several devices - over several years.

As for the lock screen, I gotta say I rarely even see it, with that ridiculously snappy fingerprint sensor etc. I find Android to be less crappy than it used to be like 5 years ago or so, its actually great. I was gasping in surprise when I was able to simply drag and drop my music on my phone.

MIUI stock apps? Better than Touchwizz's, but then again that's not that hard. They have great Notes and Mail app. Contacts and Call too desu.
