I've had the same laptop since 2012, it has worked quite well running games with quality up to Skyrim but it started giving up this year and I want to upgrade to another laptop where I can play games (I dont mind if I can't play the latest games on ultra) and also use it in class for university, so I don't want it to be too bulky or heavy. My budget stands under 1000€. so uhhh...
never get uh msi, they are uh, awful. chink shit. asus is okay but uhhh... personnely I'd go with a dell. look for uh, dell 7559. it was godlike. and sexy smooth, dosen't have that "gaymer" look
