I don't get it either. Why would you assemble something with screws that is already plastic snap-tabbed together? It only ensures that if these computers are dropped the plastic screwholes shear away and the casing is fucked, whereas if it were merely snapped together it could be easily reassembled.
And fuck no access panels, not even for RAM, why?
Dell still makes Inspirons with HDD and RAM access, but not their lowest-end (they're still way easier to take apart than HP).

You need to look up the hardware maintenance manual before you do this, regardless of consumer or business class. It will always have one part out of 20 that uses tabs versus screws and you'll have no way of knowing them before stripping it and it won't fit back on. Best example is the LCD bezels for thinkpads, every other single connector is a screw on the whole laptop but the middle of the bezel is held on by pressure from the plastic pushing outward and fitting into snap tabs.
