I'm an ancient developer, and since shortly
before the dawn of time, I've been writing
if/for/while statements with no space after the
control flow keyword. However, in recent
millennia, it seems to have come into fashion
to put a space after the keyword and no space
inside the condition parenthesis.
I see good reason for the time-honored style
since we can't actually omit the parenthesis in
most C-like syntaxes -- So can somebody give
me the really good reason that I'm missing?// Tradition!

Why not simply choose the one you like and get over it?

IFs insteads of GOTOs? Your C is so weak.

When it comes to code, I make all of my choices for better reasons than preference. I do not see any reason for the current prevailing style.

Bro, do you even JXCZ?

This is like asking about right or left hand dominant.
Just use style which your IDE has when you use auto format code on save or what your team / company has as it's ideology.

I see no real difference between the two other than style.
