I finally heard that they reverted the godawful everything-must-be-white bullshit, so I installed it on my laptop. Now every fucking time I open my laptop, I get some obnoxious system tray notification about this or that feature I don't care about. Basically, advertising irrelevant features in Windows.

I'm still not willing to install it on my desktop for fear that they haven't addressed the UAC volume issue.

Oh, and I don't even care about the 'spying'. I'm way more irritated at their SmartScreen bullshit that basically kills independent software houses. Try publishing software on your own website for Windows. People go to download it and get a super scary warning, then they have to click through a hidden link to download anyway.
