I've been using it for a week now and it's hands down the best distro i've used.
It's not bloated like ubuntu and it's not as bleeding edge as Arch so it's pretty much the perfect distro, Budgie is the best DE i've ever used on Linux.

Any of them. You can pick whatever de you want, including Budgie. There is nothing compelling about Solus in any way that makes me want to change distributions.

I actually just switched from mint to solus.
Mint is just ubloatu with a slightly more tolerable interface.
