ITT anything about programming in Unix. Linux is more than welcome.
What you you know about system calls?
Have you done any graphical programming with motif or any other GUI toolkit?
Or curses?
What about a terminal program?

Jesus Christ, seek help.

One thing that seems strange to me is that unix domain sockets can only have paths of 108 characters or less.
Pretty suprised nobody's made another system call to create PF_UNIX sockets with arbitrary lengths.

108 characters or bytes?
>>58093628
Bytes, now you say it (I didn't think of that). It's limited to the size of a sockaddr structure, which I suppose is understandable given the protocol agnostic nature of the calls. Still, I find them very useful, and would like a fully general version of it.

Linux isn't UNIX.
>>58094264
ok, but this is mainly because nobody bothers having their distros officially certified. I think they fulfill all the requirements.

There are a couple POSIX distros out there, and Linux from Scratch complies the LBS. Pretty Sure Source Mage GNU/Linux too.
