There is, its called QPI for current gen Xeons you retard. And multi socket boards have been around forever, my first was a dual Pentium Pro.

Multi CPU linking has been a staple of enterprise computing and high end production workstations/servers for quite a long time.
It's also a complete waste of money for most typical power users and has negligible to non-existent performance boosts for gaming.
