i'm on two trackers i'd never heard of till i was invited by a friend, both ban people for mentioning their existence at all.

does that really help protect sites from being taken down? it seems like small sites with reasonable opsec are pretty much immune because they're just not worth the effort from the government.

WCD was a target because it was a hugely influential and popular tracker, I don't think hiding its name would have really helped that. beyond a certain size it's inevitable that people will learn about it.
