Trying virtualization with virt-manager running windows 10 on a debian host. Network isnt working when I try to make one in virt-manager, I get this error:

bash was "in the right place in the right time" which allowed it to become the most widely used shell today and therefore has the most scripts written for it.

For vast majority of actual *nix users compatibility with bash is an absolute must.

I'm reading an admin guide on how to setup a system that uses LVM and I came across this part:

Why split root and home? (/boot is actually outside the LVM so booting is not the reason for this.)

Rationale is not quite explained well and they say this:

Hey all, I'm installing Mint on a small msata drive that came with my laptop for Windows recovery. It's about 20GB. How much space does a usual Linux install take up? And should I bother with a swap partition if I don't really plan on hibernating while booting into Linux? I should have at least a 1 GB swap, right? I'm trying to get this stats script for mpv to work.

I have downloaded the stats.lua file here

And created a folder called scripts in my /.config/mpv/ directory and put the stats.lua file in there.

When I press i or I in mpv nothing happens.

I tried creating /.mpv/scripts/ in my home directory and put the stats.lua file there and still nothing happens.

Where am I supposed to put this file? Is there something else I'm supposed to do?
