really depends what you paid for it, a gtx 960m is a bit of a shit GPU now compared to the gtx 1060'd some laptops are equipped with
if it was a decent deal, like, sub 900$, then yeah its a good buy, still a powerful laptop capable of 1080p gaming
but you could have gotten a gtx 1060 laptop and been golden
right now is what id call a great era for gaming laptops, the prices are low, the specs are great, and the "gaymer look" is slowly fading away
