Is pic related a good way to ground yourself before touching electronics? I've killed my laptop several times from ESD and there's no suitable surface to ground myself on at the desk. Don't need a wrist strap, just one-time discharge before sitting down.

You do because as you move around (including your arms in the air) you generate a new charge.

Does the metal bit go in your ass?

You plug it in the socket and put the metal rod into your mouth.
Wearing a strap the whole time I'm at a computer is retarded. I just need to discharge after walking across the room or taking off a jacket.
You don't need to ground yourself when using an iron though because the flux automatically does it for you.

I recommend the steel butt plug, you can operate it hands free
Bullshit. If they were made in the last 10 years they have ESD protection, as do any modern motherboards.

How are you going to generate a charge with a metal rod in your anus?

its a shit-tier Toshiba that I don't use very often.
It's been turned off by ESD 3 separate times. First time ruined the battery and caused permanent blotches on the display.

It would also work if you put it in your ass instead of your mouth, right?
