I'm looking for a decently priced XLR condenser mic, for use on vocals/guitar, and perhaps podcasts
thus far in my browsing, I really like the sound quality of the Blue Yeti, and I love that it has several pickup patterns. the issue is that I use an interface/mixer for recording and I don't want to plug in through USB. unfortunately, the Blue Yeti Pro with the added XLR input is twice as expensive as the USB-only version
are there any other condenser mics out there with good sound quality, and perhaps several pickup patterns for around $120? any suggestions would be much appreciated

heard a demo of that recently and it sounded pretty awful to me, it sounds really fuzzy and overly compressed
also forgot to mention this but phantom power isn't an issue, my interface can provide it

I have a Floureon model, they come with a boom arm, pop filter, and wind screen for the mic. The mic arm is pretty shitty, so plan on investing in a new one. Overall its good for instruments and vocals, you would have no problem recording things with this mic. plus it leaves you room to update the microphone later down the line if you get an interface. Ill leave a link for the microphone quality, as well as the mic package and interface.

overall you're spending close to $100, but its a pretty nice setup for starting out.
Also the interface i linked you to has a second input jack for an instrument cabel, so if you have pedals you can record your guitar/bass directly into the computer as well.

Nice sound test, I have the same mic arm and it's definitely extremely shitty.
