Anyone else have post-abuse-like behavior with their PCs?
Until like 2 years ago i was using a PC from '05, i had to constantly close out windows to save RAM, and CPU usage, defrag my HDD everynight, constantly clear any unneeded data, monitor temps
just a bunch of BS so my system wouldn't die, or lag to shit
The point is i still do all those things out of habit, even now. I get compulsive about only having tabs open that i'm actually using. I worry about my SSD and SSHD way too much, same with all my hardware components. I have 16gb of RAM but i always try to make sure i'm using as little as possible, so on

i'm a jew with tabs and programs running as well. I'm semi on top of things with my current laptop but that's just something I have done.
i just get really triggered by people who post screencaps on /g/ where their browser has like 50 tabs... it's like i'm a depression era grandpa who drinks sour milk and shit

i can easily have 50+ tabs open, run any game i want, never monitor my hardware and be fine
i just notice my friends and other people seem to not give a shit about these things, despite knowing a decent amount about PCs

When I was about 12, my uncle gave me this tiny laptop thing. No mousepad, no disc drive, no usb slots, just the essential keys and the red button in the middle for mousing. Real piece of shit. I loved the fuck out of that computer, and even know with my 1080 6700k build I'll never feel quite the same way about a piece of tech.

I Am one of those people who opens 50 tabs on one window. I should probably not do it but my work computer handles it easily. Wife actually gets pissed at me when she sees all the tabs.
