I'm using Halite (even if it's ded) without any problems. Convince me it's better.
>>
>>57991263
qBittorrent is actively supported by many contributors and a full time maintainer. Halite is a dead client who had only one author.

It's always best to use an actively supported client, not something dead.

It's not, Transmission-qt is trash, thanks to Qt

What features? Transmission is all you need.
>>
>>57993403
Yeah, for the really occasional torrent, and even then you're missing sequential downloading/streaming
Transmission is as barebones as it gets, it can only download torrents, it doesn't even have tags or any way to automate folder selection
>>
>>57993433
Sequential downloading is for poorfucks on public trackers who download from pajeets with a slow connection. Tags are pointless when you have a search function and folders are pointless because you should be organizing media with a separate utility or media server software.

Honestly those features you speak of are rather pointless.

If you can't tell the quality from the torrent listing you need to fuck off and stop torrenting because every person who torrents here knows what is good and what is shit from experience.

utorrent does not use its own libraries instead it uses a huge amount of windows native ones, it's comparable to a glorified shell script in that respect and thus absolutely useless outside of the windows ecosystem. qBittorrent provides its own libraries that it needs to be usable in more than one operating system, simple as that.
In that sense your claim of "bloat" is absolute horseshit.

Transmission GOAT.
>>
>stalls without reasoning, devs deny it all the time
>terrible seeding habits
>sometimes randomly stops DLing something for no apparent reason
>randomly freezes at times

I used to seed around 1k torrents on private trackers, but when I finally made the full transition to Linux I stopped using it and learned how to use rtorrent. Best decision ever. I'm no expert when it comes to libtorrent and I have no idea what the qbit devs do, but if they want to become somewhat relevant they should invest time where the problem lies.

So I have a movie torrent that's sitting at 99.9% but won't play nor does it show any metadata. Yet I have another movie stalled at 86% that will open and play with the usual artifacting and jittering and has metadata. Is the 99.9% movie just corrupted? I see no reason why it shouldn't play at all. .1% of a movie should be like 1 second of skipping.

Hello this is the FBI open the door

Also, what kind of retard doesn't buy the .com and .net domains aswell?

I just went to qbittorrent.com and it's fake, obviously, demanding that you solve a captcha before downloading (a probably ransomware'd version) of qbittorrent.

This is like Gorhill when he gave away Ublock to a random guy who then begged for donations and didn't update the plugin. And then Gorhill made a new plugin called Ublock Origin. I still see people all over the place recommending "Ublock" instead of AdBlock Plus (when they in reality mean Ublock Origin).

I'm aware that Imgur.com will stop allowing adult images since 15th of May. I'm taking actions to backup as much data as possible.
