If I had to buy a brand new laptop a t series would be one of my choice. You don't know how shitty consumer grade products are until you touch them.

I've always wondered why people here recommend ThinkPads when they're so shitty and DRM-ed, even the old ones. You can't even install a non-Lenovo PCI-E card or new hard disk on some models because the BIOS blocks them on purpose. You either need to do crap like "tape over pin 20" or install some hacked BIOS. Even the prices for spare parts are doubly-chocadooby compared to the ones every other brand.

The build quality ain't amazing either, that matte paint looks nice when new, but chips away and starts attracting dirt and gunk sooner or later.
