Why bother when Linux is free?

Steam runs great on Linux by the way. All but one of the games I like run natively now. Small sacrifice to make.

That is for W8.1 and W8 Embedded Standard. The longest supported Windows 7 is Windows Embedded POSReady 7 and Windows Thin PC which ends support at mid 2021.
