Because its futile to recruit future maintainer and devs this way. If your OS is promising shilling is not needed and the contributing people will come themselves.

Because I have used many operating systems and the one I currently use is the best, or at least, better than yours.

So I encourage others to install it, saving them time they could be spending on more important things like convincing people on imageboards they have more important things to do.

Cause other peoples retarded decisions affect the market as a whole and if they want dumbed down toy/botnet OS's, the FOSS movement will follow.
