Q1 2017. They had the demo literally just today. It was on par/slightly better (10% on hb) than the 6900k at stock (both on stock), the difference being the RyZen chip doesn't even have a boost clock.

Spent a total of 300 dollars, it can do pretty much everything and play any game
Still free to upgrade up to cannonlake if I ever need more power (which is not likely)
