Emacs has more bloat.

Vim is already superior when it comes to raw text editing power/speed, that's a fact. The only thing Emacs has got going is that you can access the world wide web, your mail, IRC, compiler, basically everything inside it. But why would you need that when Firefox/lynx, mutt, irssi, gcc exist?

In the end it's pure bloat and (overused argument but true nonetheless) goes against Unix philosophy by trying to do all at once.
