Which one is better for gaming: The ASUS GTX1060 Strix ROG 6GB OC or AMD RX480 Strix ROG 8GB OC? I only have the budget for 1060's or 480's.I would mostly use it for singleplayer games.

why does it have to be asus? id say its worth getting sapphire but asus doesnt have a very good reputation with amds cards

480 is already starting to edge out 1060 in DX11 and is flat out better in DX12. It's a nobrainer.

If you do pick 480, don't get the ASUS one. ASUS fucking sucks for AMD cards. Get one from MSI, Sapphire or XFX, they're all great.

what you need to do is buy glorious nvidia and stop believing these amd heathens. nvidia offers the best quality drivers to ever grace the lands. the 1060 is roughly 25% faster than the 480 in dx12. dx11 its about 40%.
