my TD app already has mobile pay, and unless samsung pay expands its eligible cards beyond CIBC people won't use it.

I honestly don't see the appeal. I still have to carry around my drivers license and insurance card so I need a wallet regardless. And it's not like a credit card or two will increase the thickness. Having some backup money is nice as well.
